Lydia Collins-Hussey is an award-winning Specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian with over 11 years’ experience working within the NHS, charity and private practice, recognised as 'The Milk Allergy Dietitian' for her specialism in this area, she helps families navigate from a daunting allergy diagnosis to feeling empowered and confident managing milk and multiple allergies. Lydia has a passion for education and is part of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) Paediatric Allergy Training Faculty and a facilitator for the British Dietetic Association (BDA) CMPA course as well as teaching on the MSc Nutrition programs at Glasgow and Surrey University. She sits on the committee for the Food Allergy Specialist Group (FASG) and a member of the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI) as well as the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI). In 2019, Lydia won the Barry Kay Award (Allied Health) for her work in CMPA in NHS Grampian and in 2021 won the BDA Paediatric Research Award for her MSc dissertation in CMPA and telehealth.
